When I moved to Las Vegas, two months ago, I decided to conduct and experiment. I decided not to bring my TV set with me. So for two months I have had no television.

Now, I have cheated a bit. I have gone to the movie theater. I also have rented movies on DVD and have watched them on my computer, but I have not watched any TV shows. I think that I won't get a television anytime soon. Besides, most of the stuff on television is crap anyway!

I keep saying I'm going to get rid of my T.V(such a waste of time). If I was in Las Vegas, I could do without a T.V. easy!!Do they still have the show "Thunder down Under"?

"Thunder Down Under" I believe is a show where a bunch of long haired, muscular, oily men take there clothes off. Yes, I think it is still there! Thanks for posting Ruby Tuesday.

    I agree,

I hardly watch tv myself. My kids and husband are hooked and probably wouldnt mind if the only channels in existance were ESPN and the Cartoon network.

Occasionally I will watch Home & Garden or Oxygen. Has anyone seen that show, "Girls behaving badly" on Oxygen? Almost like "The man show" but with women. Its soooo funny! Me and my sister we laughing our a*ses of the other night.

Here Im all jabbering away... I'll quit now.

    Take care Gil.

I rarely watch tv now days, but that's only because the leaves on the trees block me from getting the channels I love to watch. I love the history channel, lifetime for women, and the learning channel, none of which come through. At least until the leaves fall off the trees, which will be a few weeks from now and then I will watch more tv and be on the computer less.

Before anyone asks why not cut down the trees, or top them? Well, it cost to much money to pay someone to do that and I and my sons boss tried cutting one down (turned out to be the wrong one) and the darn tree feel in the oposite direction that we planned on it falling and fell on my house. Thank God there was no damage. SO, I will just sit and waite patiently for the leaves to fall of, then I will get all channels on 119w.

More power to you, gil. I own a TV, but I never watch it (it's here for the very occasional rented movie, and for company that's staying on a while). Too much other stuff to do, stuff where I'm an active participant.
