Hey Beck, haven't seen your usual 10,000 posts a day for the last couple of days? Hope you are OK!!!!

Wasn't it cool that the dead jockeys brother won the big horse race! Maybe there is a Dog after all....

I have been hosting two ex-dubs...one posts as DownunderandOut - the coolest chick you ever did meet...I met her at the train station on Saturday afternoon, as she was joining my family for some afternoon chatting and then dinner. She has only just gone home (today is Tuesday LOL). We are from the same home town, we're the same age, we were both speed skate champions - she was national champ and I was a wannabe - we were both dubbies in the same circuit and know all of the same people....we are both in the exact same line of work....and we're both SURVIVORS of dubism.

That's where I've been....strolling down memory lane with Downunder....and going through photo albums and laughing crying hugging and non-stop talking...its been so good. Last night after a few wines and giggle sessions we dressed up her hat for Melbourne Cup day....so if anyone saw a white hat with big black roses on it at Flemmington Racecourse, well that was my handiwork, as Downunder was way too intoxicated with liquor and we had to keep the superglue away from her in case she hurt herself LOL.

I also had another old dub friend who is also a fade away like Downunder staying...so what a merry little party we all had. He is unfortunately, still a believer even though he is well and truly out, so Downunder and I had to moderate our conversations....we were careful not to be TOO anti....as he is still coming to terms with the new me...the apostate me. He found it hard to relate to my new stand regarding the troof....but tough tarties....it is what it is right?

So that's where I've been....trying to start me a bible study except on the otherside of the WT LOL. My 4 day weekend has been an eventful one.

Yes the dead jockey's brother won the race....tomorrow is the funeral for the brother. I hope you placed some money on the winning horse Pope...I didn't. I would have thought ANOTHER kiwi horse would have won again, like the last 2 years....but I guess NZ had to give someone else a turn eh!
