People who don't recognize what a smart and hilarious parody of society The Simpsons is haven't given it a chance.

What a strange coinsidence! I was at the book store about a week ago and I acually read part of this book. It consists of seveal articles at try to find the meanings of the Simpson characters, what they represent and why they act the way they do. Good book!

The Simpsons is a stunningly humorous and accurate take on American society. Its characters often say what we think but don't have the guts to say. Hilarious!
