Living on the edge

  I have a friend that works at Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant here in California.

  PG and E hooked up a load of nuclear fuel to a defected hitch.

  (inside sources say that they were well aware of the defect)

  They drove about 40 feet away when the hitch broke and the trailer dropped!

  Its not clear if anything spilled.

  She says they were all told not to say anything to anybody.

  Scares me to think these people are in charge.

  Should i tell the media??
  I'll let you know if I start glowing in the dark!!

  Another perfect example to support my personal opinion that 90% of individuals in this world are morons.

  IF these "inside sources" are verifiable and this story is accurate, then in my own opinion, you have a responsibility to alert the media so that the public in your area near this nuclear plant is made more well aware of the incompetent fools who are given the responsibility to handle such dangerous products that could effectively kill or deform thousands.

  What will happen if you contact the media and relay this story?

  PERHAPS something would be done.

  What will happen if you sit by quietly and do not act?

  NOTHING.

  Will you be able to live with yourself the next time something breaks on a defective piece of equipment because these jackasses are stupid and you have a local version of Chernobyl? When POSSIBLY.. you could have prevented it or brought about organizational change at that plant or public scrutiny because this story was told in the press?

  Just my 2c.

  If it were me, and I knew this actually happened.. I would contact the local government and media.

  Reborn, that was too funny. Personally I'm not sure if the biggest morons are those in government or those who continually put their faith and trust into organizations that promote the very things that kill humanity on a daily bases.

  I can just hear some people now...but we need government...we need prisons...we need someone else to take responsibility for our inability too take action...blahblahblah. What many morons could probably use is a swift kick in the arse for starters. It's one way too begin reclaiming our power for govering the government(s)...Isn't that OUR responsibility?
