re Planting seeds

I started a thread in 'friends' about this, but it seems no one has plain evidence one way or the other, so I'll put this in under practices and wait.

The name of Jesus has been preached through most of the world, but is the watchtower responsible? They claim that their preaching clearly sets them apart, but hasn't the seed already been planted where they are tramping ?

I remember praying for a friar at my school who was going off to engage with a highland New Guinea tribe - indeed going out and sowing seed.

It seems that people assume odds are that jws must have done this too, but have they ?

When ? Is there any evidence ? When have they gone to where Jesus has not been preached before to plant the seed ?

    No one ?

Is that looking like NEVER ?

No comments - I suppose I'll take that as a "never" for now - so instead of being the SOLE preachers to the earth, it appears that they have Never taken the Word of God/Jesus to those who haven't heard, any time.

In the same vein, Mary Kochan, a 3rd gen. convert from JW to Catholicism, recommends mentioning this stinger (among others) to a pioneer: "Your missionary work is nothing like the early Christians. The Apostles preached the good news of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection--those were events in the past. Jehovah's Witnesses travel door-to-door making predictions about the future: all of which have failed."
