he he he.........when I get a tad blue, I tend to look up my old school reports and see how far I've advanced since those god ole school days and have a good laugh........... below are my yearly reports in "Divinity" which for those who dont know is an old term for Religious Education, these are actual quotes from my report book

    Age 11

"Simon is working reasonably well but he frequently forgets to hand his book in"

    Age 12

"This has been a most disappointing year for Simon. He has made increasingly less effort to do any work, particularly home work ( he he he an apostate in the making !!!!!)

    Age 12.5

"Simon still finds the handing in of written work very difficult to accept. When I do see his work, it is usually slapdash and showing little thought ( ahhhh that'll be cheating on my monthly hours then !!)

    Age 13

"There has been no improvement in Simon's attitude. I have still very little written work from him"

    Age 13.3

"Simon has done very little work this year. This result (91%) shows that Simon has the ability to work when he makes the effort" (or when the Elders come round for a chit chat LOL)

    Age 14

"Simon needs to work so much harder and must put more effort generally in to his work" (ooooh going downhill again!!!)

    Age 15

"Simon has not made a good deal of effort, he needs constant supervision for he is so frequently intent in mischief" (LMAO), (reminds me when I was "marked" in the cong)

    Age 16

"Simon has shown more interest this year and has made some effort to improve his written work" (oooh that'll be the elders visit again then)

J Gull............feel free to share your report quotes

Care to share the age of those reports? Not prying of course, if you don't want to just tell me it's none of my business and I'll understand.

That reminds me of this elderly sister in my old cong. Sister Norma Skwarlo. She and her husband lived in a trailer behind the KH. She broke her hip once and while she was recuperating, I'd go visit her before the meetings. A few times she brought out her old report cards from school. These were from before the Great Depression, even from before World War 1. Her grades were pretty bad let me tell you. She'd just laugh about it and tell me that didn't mean I could get bad grades.

    Mike.

Hmmm I don't think I do, I used to have a pen pal in the UK named Simon, who lived in Hove and was a huge Seagull fan, I saw a couple of connections and wondered if I knew you, but I don't think so. Sorry!
