Hubby had a visit from one of the overseers yesterday. He just told me today that there will be no Sunday meeting this week. Seems all the Overseers are having a big meeting at their Kingdom Hall....It will take up both sides of the hall. Two congregations meet there at the same time at opposite ends.It is a large hall!..
So I wonder what is going on? Ever hear of anything like that? Do they do that often?

We won't have any Elders at our hall tomorrow either. They are all at the Elder's school.
I don't go to meetings, but I do know all the elders are at a refresher school. There is a meeting though. I guess the MS' will handle it.
I posted this in the wrong forum!...Duh!
Anyway..Do they do that annually or something? Maybe it is a "Budget" meeting....

The WTS has been holding Supplemental Elders Meetings to the ones last December. If they went on Saturday and Sunday, I would assume that is what is happening.
That is the meeting Caspian posted about where a push is going to be made to call on the inactive in January, February, and March.

Normally this would be for an Elders meeting. If your hall is being used you usually go to another congregation. The MS will handle the meeting.
