I bought my nephews a Playstation 2 for xmas. I bought it a little early so I could play with it myself first and I got Final Fantasy X. Pretty cool game. The Final Fantasy games are like Dungeons and Dragons meet Anime.

Anyone else played it or the other FF games?

    Mike.

Yes, I love the Final Fantasy series.

I played Final Fantasy II and III for the Super NES. Wonderful games with amazing storylines, and in my opinion, far superior to the current games which choose to instead focus on dazzling you wit graphics and cinema sequences and neglect the dialogue and plot. Alas that is only my personal opinion, for many people love the new games.

If you have access to Japanese imports, you could also play Final Fantasy IV, V, and VI, which were not released in the US. I got to play one of them at a friend's house a long time ago, although I do not remember which one it was.

I have also played Final Fantasy VII, VIII, VIIII, and XX for the Sony Playstation and the PS2. All in all an excellent series.

I've played FF 1, 7, and 8. The first one was when I was in middle school and over the summer. For almost a week all I did was eat, sleep, go the meetings (what a waste!) and play that game until I beat it. I also beat 7 but it took me a little longer. I played 8 for a while but didn't get very far because I hated having to do those stupid card games to get stuff. If it weren't for that it would have been a great game. Does X have that in it? If not I may have to check it out sometime.

On a side note, I've been playing a lot of Gran Turismo 2 (don't have a PS2, yet, so I'm stuck playing PS1 games). Its a great driving game that's very realistic and takes forever to beat which, to me at least, is a good thing.

FF7 was the first one I played and I got addicted to it. 8 was a letdown IMO because it just didn't seem as vast and detailed as 7. FFX looks promising however I'm still early in the game. I don't know how big FFX's "world" is but hopefully it will take me a while to win.

I love Final fantasy series! i love playing them and everything. I beat the first one which had a good story line and currently working on 3 however i can't for the life of me PASS it! I defeated that crackhead that's on top of the tower or building where you can use only magic and i'm like totally stuck as to what i'm suppose to do. I have no clue what i'm suppose to wager in the colliseum (spell check?) but anyway if ya'll (yes i have a slight texan accept due to my 2 years of living here) can help me out here...i'd appreciate it! ~FS

Gamefaqs is good but sometimes lacking. Just go to Google and do a search to see what comes up. You have to have a pretty obscure game to not be able to find some helpful hints out there and since all the FF games are so popular I think you'll probably be able to find something.

    Good luck!!!!!!!

FF IIIV was very good, FF IIX was pretty good, and FF X was awesome.

Now you've got me wanting to buy my own PS2 so I can get the rest of the series. I'm still early on in FFX, where they fight Sin on the cliff.

So here's a question. (and no I don't need to get out more) Who's hotter? Yuna or Lulu?

Mike. (I know I'll regret asking that)
