    GO BUCKS!!!!

If they can beat those Wolverines, it's off to Tempe. Wouldn't that be something!

Well, being a Florida Gators fan, I'd feel tempted to say Florida/ Florida St. is a bigger rivalry, but given the National championship implications this year, I'll give provisional agreement to your statement (but just for this year ).

Personally, I'd like to see Ohio St. loose; not because I particularly dislike them, but I'd like to see the BCS system get into a rankings quagmire. It would really be interesting to see how much controversy would swirl around if there were a ton of 1 loss teams, and a damn computer decided which two teams were the best (of course, this would also mean that I would like Miami to loose a game; but as a Gators fan, that's a given ). The last two seasons, the BCS has saved itself some major embarrasments by having an undefeated team win the title, depite the presence of opponents (Florida State and Nebraska) in the title game that did not deserve to be there. Hell, if OU didn't beat Fla. St. 2 years ago, one could seriously see the Hurricanes being the National Champs, despite being snubbed for the title game (let's not mention the fact that they beat the Gators in their bowl game that year ). Of course, maybe I'm only saying this because the Gators aren't contending for the title this year (), but I really think it would be entertaining if my scenario played through.

In Columbus where I live, Ohio State football is front page, "we interrupt this broadcast" news. And the dubs around here get into it as much as anyone else, which is kind of funny.

I'm trying not to get my hopes too high. Michigan has played the spoiler too many times. And I think that the Buckeyes, while they certainly are an excellent football team, are lucky to be undefeated at this point. It isn't like they've been dominating their opponents. They barely beat Purdue and Illinois, both unranked teams (I think).

I think that if they end up in the Fiesta Bowl vs. Miami, they'll get blown off the field. Then again, Jim Tressel is a hell of a coach, he may surprise us all.

Yes!! Go Buckeyes!! Hey, where in Columbus is there a good spot to camp out and watch the game? I'm about an hour and a half north and just can't sit at home--gotta be in Buckeye country. But I'm assuming that the city's going to be too crazy to have any hope of finding a sports bar that isn't nuts-packed. Any advice on this?

Last year UCLA played Ohio State and won, 13-6.

Two seasons ago UCLA also beat Michigan, 23-20.

That being said (go UCLA!) ...I think the Buckeyes will win vs. Michigan.

    The Firm:

I'm sure that any Damons restaurant in town would be a pretty hopping place to be during the game.

Beyond that, I don't know, I don't get out much!

I don't know if I'll be able to watch the game. It is almost too much sometimes. I think that all the hype works in UM's favor. I mean, Ohio State fans want a victory sooooo bad. I'm not sure that UM fans get as wound up about it. And after John Cooper's 2-10-1 (I think) record vs. Michigan, it seems like the rivalry may never be the same.

It's gonna be mayhem on OSU campus if the Buckeyes win. They'll have to call out the National Guard. You've got all these 21 year old losers living on campus who throw these ridiculous beer parties, with 50 kegs and all. It gets really out of hand, with cars getting turned over and set on fire. Then the police come out in riot gear and that just seems to make it worse.
