Francois - Isn't that flat foot floogy? Funny u mention that. My mother who passed away earlier this year named her childhood cat Floogy after that song.

I am positive, and I realize that life is what we make of it. If we are not happy, then change it.

Easily said freedom, because u are an optimist and obviously have your life fairly smooth. Somethimes life thows u one curve after another after another, and never give u a chance to come up for air. Death, divorce, loosing your job, being a victim of a crime, and many otehr countless things people are subjected to on a daily basis.
sidenote - Just because one person is an optimist and another person is negative, does not make the other any more or less important or right or wrong? A person's personality is thier own, why not accept all types of people.
If the world was full of happy-go-lucky-people all of the time, I think it would get rather sickening, don't u think?

The purpose of life is to live.
Hope for everything - Expect nothing

Well let me put it this way. It's midnight and I just got home because my car broke down and I had to walk about six miles. But it was the most gorgeous night for a walk. The moon is shining as bright as the sun, the stars were twinkling, and I live in a rural area, so it was just me and the animals. I was so inspired, I walked very quietly for awhile just to listen to the peacefulness of the night, then I started singing "Oh Holy Night." It was pretty fun:)

Some times I look at life as a beautiful tragedy full of joys.
Other times I think it is a sick joke w/ death as the punchline.
