    This is an awesome site!

I am especially 'enjoying' the 'Watchtower Imperium' photos.

I have never seen inside Krooklyn Bethel, Patterson, Wallkill or knew just how many buildings they own.

I'd also die to see what that one guy at Patterson's lobby desk has up on his 'puter.

Thanks for sharing these. It actually is repulsive to see how much money WTBTS has and generates.

Darn! The grand totals all appear up from last year. I keep hoping for a big decline one of these years.

I don't have all the same stats in front of me right now, only the ones from the website: http://www.jw-media.org/people/statistics.htm, but looks like avg hours per publisher remained flat. Dividing total hours by avg. publishers, I get 198.788 vs. 198.763 last year. That's 16.566 hours/month this year vs. 16.563 last year. So avg hours/month is up by 3 thousands of an hour, or about 10.8 seconds.

As was stated somewhere earlier, the sick/infirm can now count up to a quarter hour per month. So this will increase publishers and hours. So some of the growth is from that: counting what they couldn't before.

30 more people were eating and drinking (and taking no note of what the Bible says) at the memorial. And that's a number that's supposed to decrease.

I forget who analyzes it, but I'm sure if you read into the numbers and compare all the stats, you'll see the campaigns are failing and that it really is a lot worse than it looks.

But I'm still dissapointed. I figured with the info on the internet and all the molestation scandals, I'd see bigger drop-offs and losses. Maybe they're there, but maybe they were offset by big pushes in the early part of the year. Maybe next year will see bigger declines. For once I'd like to see the US post a big decline.

Or do you think much of this is fabricated? I'm sure a lot of it is, from the publisher who lies on their time sheet all the way up to the top. But that's always happened. If they wanted to be total liars, I'm sure they wouldn't show any losses.

U can B sure that the child molestion scandel is having an impact, I heard 2day that a friend of a friend quit a few weeks ago(My friend had been ill/on holiday)over the child molestion she has heard about.

I estimated that on average that 1 hour per publisher per year or even month is false.

You have to remember that there is a lot of momentum behind the WT growth, a lot of social pressure, etc. And as noted many times, the vast majority of the growth is from born and raised JW kids. But the telling numbers are those that have been 'gleaned' from the reports above, see some of the other threads with Battmann's posts about how effective the preaching work is. That's a major tell. And the # of baptisms that have remains extremely static for years. The dam is crumbling, and has a lot of small leaks, at some point it might burst. There has to be a breaking point - unless the WTBTS wises up and makes some changes.

The other tells are the fact that the same sad story comes up everywhere, conventions are down, meeting attendance is down, and the JWs are plain and simple sick and tired of being feed the same old 'do more do more' crap.
