Did all of you have as much fun as I did raking leaves and dragging them to the street? I just finished the bulk of them and it was at least 100 33gal bags full. I'm getting to old for this. Now I have got to finish up the strays, but it's too windy right now. Y'all have fun too!

sounds like somebodt needs to get a mulcher....just think no more bagging...and more compost for your gardening projects....

I live on the 6th floor of an apartment building. Someone else rakes leaves, cuts grass, shovels snow, etc. Probably not the best job, but its not my concern. The convenience of high density city life.
Are you kidding..I have that many too!..I have the back yard .(biggest).one side yard done and I have one more side and the front (2nd time) to do. We have a mulcher on our lawnmower..but you have to empty it after a few swipes. At frst mulched them nd then picked them up...lssbags that way. (Riding mower) I like to get by the fence with a rake..looks beter!. Or if there is too many..just rake. Otherwise you get a lot of mulch in the grass you can't rake up!. Kills the grass.
I need a heating pad on my lower back as we speak!

Bad part about a fenced in back yard...the leaves don't blow away!

I guess I'm lucky. I have a long yard with a huge ditch at the eastern end of it. We just wait till a nice day with the wind out of the west and we start raking. We also take a couple big pieces of cardboard and just walk through the pile like big plows. In about half an hour the whole mess is in the ditch. It looks funny but it works. els
