This news is a few days old now.
I think you will see more of this type of stuff as the far east is now opening up too the west.
I believe there was the Indian one as well I think.
I think in the "arch" and "paleo" science world you are going to see two hypotheses coming forward - the reconsideration of the africa orgin thingy and the fact that many human civilizations and cities were actually around 10 to 12 thousand years ago.

I think this is just another of those unkowns that they will only give guess to a date of origin without any solid evidence.Interesting none the less .
