My Wife and JWs

    Hi All,

My wife was a Church of God member when we were married. We didn't discuss religion that I can remember. My mother seemed to like her and her two children(my step kids). She only lived a few months after I was married. My aunt used to come by and try to start a study with her and get me back to the hall.

I was talking to my wife yesterday and she said my aunt made some remarks indicating that she(my wife) was responsible for me not being a good little witness anymore. I said,"Sure, you were a worldly person." We both had a good laugh. If you knew my wife, she is about as far from a "worldly" person as they get. Her children have to watch their language when they are around her. She is a good hearted person and a lot of fun to be around, but she doesn't like dirty jokes and foul language. I'm a little more tolerant myself and her kids don't mind telling it like it is around me. She doesn't go to any church now, they are all too hypocritical for her. I think she is right about that.

I've been spilling the beans about the JWs lately to her and she kind of laughs and gives me the impression like, I knew it all along. She has never been judgemental toward me because of my former JW association. It's fun being completely free of guilt from the borg.

It's fun being able to relax with a person you really care about, too, huh?

    Good for you,
