This is just a bit of fun really, but do you know how many handshakes you are away from your favourite personality?

This is how it works. I have shaken hands with my Brother in laws Father in law, who just happens to own Glenfiddich Whisky and Gordons gin. His name is Sandy Gordon - Grant. So I have Sandy Gordon - Grant in 1.

However, he has met the Queen on several occasions, and each time he has shaken Queen Lizzies hand, so that means that I have had Her Majesty in two. Now, she of course has shaken Bill Clintons hand so I have him in 3.

This is where it gets really interesting, because that means, assuming that every ingoing president shakes hands with the outgoing one, that I have had Abraham Lincoln in around 29 or 30. Winston Churchill in 3 and most famous politicians and world leaders in 3 or 4.

However I wouldn't mind Shania Twain in 1. Ouch!

I just realised that I have Adolf Hitler in two. I don't even want to think about going to three.

Did Abraham Lincoln have a chance to shake Andrew Johnson's hand before he was shot in Ford's Theatre by John Wilkes Booth? Probbably, he was his vice president. But what about William Mckinley and Teddy Roosevelt? Or JFK to Lyndon Johnson? Wait, both Lincoln and Kennedy had vice presidents named Johnson? Coincidence?!

I can't think of anyone I connect to that would be impressive. Boooo.

Oh yes. Barbara Bush in 2. One of my friends shook her hand back in '97. I met her, but not that close. A group introduction.

Oh.............just remembered..............I have Englishman and Simon in 2 also. Through Joy2bfree. So, does that mean I have the Queen in 3?
