Even after all these years away from dubbism, I still get a buzz each Sunday morning when I awake and think "NO FIELD SERVICE EVER AGAIN!"
I appreciate that it's now called something along the lines of "Engaging in the Ministry" or similar, back then we simply "Went on the work". God, how I loathed it.
So tomorrow, instead of door-bashing and meeting attending, I will do what I want to do. I'll buy The Times, attempt the crossword, go and see the new James Bond film after doing some Christmas shopping at Cribbs Causway, come home, watch a bit of telly and finish off with a pint or three down the pub.
Now that, IMHO, is how Sundays should be spent!
So how do you spend your Sundays now that field service and meeting attendance are no longer required?
