We recently requested copies of documents with personal information from the Society.
We recieved a reply, in which they state, that because the privacy laws, they dont use
any documents with personal information. The only exeption is "publisher record card",
which is destroyed after one is d/f or d/a.

Do you have any info if that is true? Dont they use S-77 forms in all countries? What
    about other documents? Thanx!

S-77 being used here in Oz. We have a new Privacy Act but I don't believe it's impacted upon the judicial forms like it has in the UK.

    Amazing

When a person is DF/DA then the S-77 is used and maintained in the file ... it merely acknowledges that a person is DF/DA, the date, and has the Society stamp ... the Society maintains a copy. If they are destroying Pub Rec Cards upon being DF/DA, then that is a new procedure since I left in 1992. Although, I have no doubts that the local Elders save the old Pub Rec Cards anyway. Any JC File notes on DF/DA persons is normally destroyed nowadays ... except maybe some very brief statements about why the person was DF/DA ... and again, this will vary with local Elders, because many have a love affair for saving old notes and files and will do so secretly ... even against Watchtower instructions.
