There was a topic a while back which talked about Satan being depicted in the Society's artwork. I made mention that while on a tour at the farm in Pine Bush/Walkill, I took a picture of a painting showing the four horsemen of the apocalypse with Death following behind. You can just make out the face in the picture. It almost looks as if his eyes and mouth are closed. The wierd alter-images showing up in the picture is my reflection in the glass. This picture has not been doctored in any way either.

The society's artwork is principally designed to make a statement and to back up a line of reasoning, they don't do anything for just the aesthetic value. In this context, I think this picture is pretty yucky!

I could be wrong, but to me his eyes look open. They look like they have the black stuff under the eyes similar to what football and soccer players use to keep the sun's glare out of their eyes.
