Hubby had to talk to some in the committee when he was in the hospital. They wanted to make sure he "Didn't get blood forced on him!"
They recommended the Drs. for him to see. I believe the Drs. they recommend are just Drs. that go along with the blood issue. It doesn't mean they are more qualified than any other Drs. Sometimes I think it is just the opposite. The Drs. need patients so bad they will agree to anything!...JMO
After he got out of the hospital..we never saw them again!. Well actually we only had one member visit.
We also ..before he went in..had to hunt them down . They were working on the assembly hall around the corner. Then they couldn't find a copy of the "DPA for health care" that the JW's use for "No Blood"and the patients wishes for life support. . They brought him one at the next weeks meeting. Then I had to explain everything on the sheets. ..They make it very confusing .Then a few days later ..one of the committee called ..late..to see if we were filling it out alright!..I said yes. I AM.
Funny..since he has been out of the hospital for over 3 months and only one visit by a brother..(Who couldn't hear and forgot to say a prayer! )..Such loving people!.
Real professionals...NOT!

Spotted the article in Le Monde today Charles, which I've posted in http://kent.steinhaug.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1062 . I guess you must have known about this yesterday.
We will be getting a new blood card and HCAD form in two weeks time, it's likely that the wording will be different, so I await that Service Meeting with interest.
