Where in the hell is HappyMan, when you need a script written! Damn!
"Francois" is the man for the job. Try E-mailing him.
We just got the Time magazine in the mail today (the Dec. 30 issue, persons of the year - the whistleblower) Here is what I wrote and would like to send as a letter to the editor. What do you all think ? Any suggestions about what I wrote? If enough of us send something about the pedophile issue, maybe they will investigate ?
One can only have great respect for these women who risked their career by standing up for the truth. Enron, the FBI and WorldCom are high profile and highly charged cases everyone in the US and most parts of the world have heard about. But there are many more whistleblowers most of us will never even hear about. But they're there, fighting for the truth in the background, trying to right the wrongs. Have you ever heard the name Bill Bowen, or Barbara Anderson ? In the last 2 years, Bowen's life has been turned upside down. He is now shunned by former friends and even family members for having dared uncover a rampant pedophile problem inside his life long religion, the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, better known as the Jehovah's Witnesses. He resigned his post as an elder in his congregation in Kentucky, when he discovered cases of child abuse and molestation and he was told in no uncertain terms by his elder colleagues and the central office in Brooklyn that he should keep it quiet, and not go to the authorities under any circumstance. Barbara Anderson worked at the headquarters and was asked to do research on child molestation cases and was shocked to find out how many there were, and that in most cases, the molester was still a member in good standing, but the victim had been disfellowshiped (ex-communicated). She, like Bowen has been disfellowshiped from the sect under the pretense of "causing divisions in the congregation" and no Jehovah's Witness is allowed to talk to her or even greet her anymore. This is Christian love Watchtower style...

Noone's gonna tell me if it's ok or not ? can I send it ?
Yep send it Celia...what you got to lose?
Celia, it was all perfect apart from the last statement about Christain love. That made the whole thing personal. It needs to be completely objective.
Celia,
Maybe you could include copies of these articles UnDisfellowshipped has posted.
