Christmas is a time when we remember gods love, I am told.
I wish god would stop 'loving' me at this time of year.
1990 I lost my wife just after christmas.(33 yrs old)
5 years ago I lost Dad just before christmas.(61trs old)
Yesterday (23rd) my 16 year old niece died of leukamia(sp?)
I just cant take anymore of gods love at this time of year.

I'm so sorry to hear about your niece, please extend my condolences to the family.
You are right this is supposed to be a time of the year we remember for the love, joy and happiness of gathering with our families to celebrate fun times. That you and your family are experiencing so much saddness at this time isn't fair. I wish my arms could stretch across the ocean to that far away land and give you a hug to ease your sorrow.

Thank you for your kind replies.
The death was not totaly unexpected but we realy did think that Stacey would get one more christmas at home with the family.
It just seems to me that everything happens around this time of year in our family and i have a great deal of trouble equating what happens with a loving god.
