Every time a holiday happens to be in the middle of the week, I get mixed up, and wonder what day we are. This morning, I had the impression it was Saturday. Good thing I had my watch to tell me it was Tuesday. Do you also get mixed up with these holidays?

That always happens to me too! I will admit to that being the one thing I may not like about holidays. Spring foward, and fall back always messes me up too. I am hardly what you might call a mechanical person, so I hate having to remember when to change the clocks, and how to change them all. So my clocks are usually off for part of the year. It drives my husband crazy, but I tell him that I know what time it is.

I'm retired and each day is pretty much like yesterday, so I have to look at my watch also to see what day it is. The weeks go by like days, each day seems like about 2 hours. I have thought about going back to work to make my life seem longer.

Frequently, I never know what day or date it is when I first wake up. So I grab the remote control and turn on the TV, and begin to "set" the VCR for a program because that tells me the DAY of the week, and the DATE, thank goodness.
LOL @ Undecided's comment about going back to work to make life SEEM longer. Boy, that's the truth. Funny!
