We give below a simple cure for appendicitis symptoms . The pain in the appendix region is caused by the biting of wormsnear the junction of the transverse colon with the small intestines, low down on the right side of the abdomen. This remedy is recommended also for typhoid fever, which is also a worm disease . The medicine is Santonine dose, 3 grains, an hour before breakfast; repeated for four mornings, or until all the symptoms disappear. Then one dose per month for three months to eradicate all germs. This recipe is of INCALCULABLE VALUE. Not only will it save the surgeon's and hospital fees of perhaps $200, but it saves weeks of ill health, inconvenience, convalescence and loss of salary.

The quotes have made me remember my first few years in the Truth and comments made by worldly ones, I wonder if any others remember also?
When I started in the field service, many people made mention that we Jehovahs Witnesses did not belief in medicine, or doctors. I thought this was rubbish and that such worldly people are just plain stupid about JWs, I would then go on about it was just the use of blood, that the Bible forbid.
But after reading these quotes from old Awakes, I now understand why people used to make such stupid comments, they had simply read, the old stupid Awakes.
My Mother, a long-time JW also said that having vaccinations was not good, and even prevented me having TB jabs at school; she was still tainted by the Old Light.
I feel upset that all this old light has been hidden from the R/F, my old K/hall had many old Mags in the Library, but was always locked up, I was never able to read those old gems.
