search box not working

Using a Samsung galaxy s4 , the search box opens, but once selected the box diappears.

Same on iphone 5, 6, 6+ using Safari or Mercury.

Search is broken on mobile for me too. The way I get around it is by pasting
http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/search/?q=
into to the address bar. I then add my search terms, each word separated by +.
http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/search/?q=word+word+word
Another option is to do a custom google search. I type my search terms into google, then add
site:www.jehovahs-witness.com

It doesn't work on kindle either, which is an android platform.

Ditto. Heaps of people have suggested using it for research but it never worked for me (Samsung s4). Glad you posted this lefty, that Simon is on to it and bandit has a work around!
