I find it fascinating when a poster says he or she has just had a visit from the JWs. The recalled encounter is always very interesting.

Knowing how the average JW thinks, most of you, who are ex-JWs, have the benefit of hindsight.

I think it would be very entertaining to read all your stories of JW Encounter Of The Third Kind since leaving the Org .

Mine are not so interesting these days.

    1) a married JW couple from my old KH accidently called on me twice in one day they looked horrified...On both occasions the lady put her hand to her mouth in shock and both walked away without saying a word!

    2) My wife and 2 nippers were talking to someone at the door, when I went to see who it was it was 2 JWs who I knew well offering my wife the "Family Happiness and how to find it" book. I asked them to give my jw family a shout (they were working on the same street) and ask them to pop in and tell my wife how happy the JW books made our family. A cool conversation stopper...they walked away fuming.

I have only one Jw come to my door and she never came back.I reconized the lady who with her and she must have went on about who I was...blah blahh.

I see JW all the time when Im shopping and if I see them standing in a line waiting to pay for their groceries,I deiliberalty(bah can't spell it) stand behind them with a smile on my face.I waited on a JW at work the other day and he seemed to become a little flushed once it clicked in who I was..I recall him being interested in me at one time ... hehe

I laughed at your comment, Brunnie. . .good point. . . That jw-type education provides many an example of unhappy families. . . has been my experience. The proof is in the pudding, it has been said.. . . So true. . .so true. . .

Gotta learn to think on my feet like that. . . for when it gets to be my turn with that cult. . .<mumble. . .mumble>

Well, from the pic under your name, i would gather you are quite furry now. Maybe your lack of shaving since leaving dubland, has resulted in an animalistc appearance. Have you developed sharp teeth as well, and claws? There you go.
