The Watchtower doesn't really teach lies. Their "current understanding" or, "present truth", just changes from day to day.

Ya gotta love the obvious truisms: "lies cannot be true" is like saying "dark cannot be light."

But don't forget, you learned this from the Watchtower, you learned all this from the Watchtower, and you learned this only from the Watchtower!

Actually, they do teach lies. Here are some for you:

Jehovah's Witnesses, in their eagerness for Jesus' second coming, have suggested dates that turned out to be incorrect. Because of this, some have called them false prophets. Never in these instances, however, did they presume to originate predictions 'in the name of Jehovah.' Never did they say, 'These are the words of Jehovah.' (g93 3/22 p 3, footnote)

...Bible chronology also fixes the time for Christ's second presence and the assuming of his right to rule as at 1914; this date was published in The Watchtower as early as 1879, 35 years before 1914. (The Sign of Christs Presence [tract], 1955 p 3)

Do they believe that they are the only ones who will be saved? No. ... Jesus admonished that we should not be judging one another. We tend to look on the outward appearance. God looks on the heart. (Jehovahs Witnesses in the 20th Century, 1978, p 27)

"As regards the alleged involvement of children the applicant association submits that children cannot become members of the association but only participate, together with their parents, in the religious activities of the community. In respect of the refusal of blood transfusion, the applicant association submits that there are no religious sanctions for a Jehovahs Witness who chooses to accept blood transfusion and that, therefore, the fact that the religious doctrine of Jehovahs Witnesses is against blood transfusion cannot amount to a threat to public health. - Stated before the European Human Rights Commission, July 3, 1997.
