I have a few digital camera photos from our trip. I thought I would share some of them. The camera is in a set of binoculars, so all are taken from a distance.
There were unusually HUGE waves for a few days. Here is a photo.

This is 3 of the kids, and Princess' sister in law, Lisa, burying the 4th child in the sand. This beach is by the place where Magnum PI was filmed. Waimanalo Beach.
I envy you guys!!! Even here in Central Florida the temperature is in the 50's (too cold for a day @ the beach for my taste)

Look at Rys go. Once you've let your kids surf you've lost them. He'll be a surfer for life.
I was worried that they wouldn't like the surf. They are used to swimming pools and the ocean is so different. They loved it. My daughter is too young for boogie boarding but she loved to have one of us hold her or she'd float on a noodle until we forced her to come in. She loved floating over the big waves. The boys loved it when the waves would knock them off their feet and they'd come up sputtering.
I want to go back.
