  Thanks Dan I'll have to get that for my dad. He's a huge Satriani fan. He used to drive me to insanity by playing "Surfing with the Alien" over and over and over....He's a frustrated guitarist at heart.

  Yeah TH, he did at least have good taste in music. I saw "Woodstock", "Monterey Pop" and "Tommy" when I was in elementary school. How many kids can say that?

  He won't be disappointed. If he doesn't have Crystal Planet (1998), be sure to get that one for him too. Satch diehards like me generally consider that album to be his peak, just outrageously creative and satisfying music. But Strange Beautiful is equally good, I'm getting more and more addicted to it.
