  What's this about the elders coming to see inactive ones? I read this on an earlier thread. Please inform!

  Guess it is determined on where you live.

  My son hasn't been to a meeting since his grandfather (an elder) passed away over 1 year ago - he hasn't gotten so much as a phone call from anyone at the Kingdom Hall. Of course - I am definately not going to pursue the matter.........what a relief he'll be free.

  Yes.

  I can verify this.

  I haven't been to a meeting for a few years.

  Yet all of a sudden, the elders are interested in my spirituality.

  eventually they will get to everyone....they are calling on everyone they can find...

  They pass in front of my place every day, and they never stop. Either they are keeping me for a memorial visit, or they DF'd me with any notice, or they don't care about me.

  Or maybe, they are accumulating the evidence against me, and then they will strike.

  Now, lets see, what evidence can they find?

  Oh yea, my telephone line is always busy, I must be on the internet.

  They have a case !

  Let's just say I have heard that in the next few months they will be visiting all inactive ones who are baptized. I am not concerned about it, because I won't be here if they call on me. If they do come by, I will let my hubby debate Scripture with them.
