  Penn & Teller's "BULLSH!T!" show

  Did anyone catch this new half-hour show on SHOWTIME last night? The theme of the series is debunking popular delusions, and last night's show discussed the fraudulent parasites who claim to be able to talk with those who have "crossed over."

  It was an excellent show. At on point they had a discussion with a fellow from CSICOP, and on the wall behind him was a poster-sized reproduction of this cover from the Jan/Feb '99 issue of "Skeptical Inquirer" magazine:

  It could well be that some here are familiar with that issue, but I was not. Happily, it can be ordered on line.

  Not a fan of Penn & Teller but I caught their show and I was impressed. Amazingf the release forms the audience members of the psychic shows have to sign so they can't tell anybody how wrong some of the readings were.
