My visit to the kingdom Hall

So last Friday, I'm doing my rounds [I work for the Post Office as a Letter Carrier], our office was recently reorganized, and they added to my route in the process, one of my stops? .... Kingdom Hall, so I walk in just to have a look around, after all it's been over ten years since I've seen the inside of one. Old lady cleaning the toilets, two young women chatting and and older gentlemen.

I gave them their mail and we began chatting as they swooped in for the kill, offering me a FREE home Bible study, giving me a couple of mags, inviting me for a spiritual feast at their Sunday meeting.

They asked me my name and I told them and they were trying to figure out my nationality, the younger women kept looking at me, "you look familiar" "what was your name again?" She kept saying "Orlando" I said "no, Rolando Rodriguez, two RR's." Then her eyes widened and she put her hand to her mouth and whispered "RR".

Hmmm ... ya think perhaps she visits this forum? lol

Ha, now that would be funny. Do you think she was trembling in her boots, being in the presence of such an evil, demon filled apostate!?

She might even be a poster here too, after all there are a few of us here that still live the JW life because of our families.

Wow, her behavior was certainly suspicious, wasn't it? I would tend to think that she DOES know who RR is. She may be viewing these posts right now, who knows. If she is still trying to "fit in", she won't blow her cover at this point.

Perhaps you were meant to run into her at that peticular time and she was able to see a happy mailman, who was no longer a JW. See, you didn't drop dead, or get consumed by some horrible plague. You aren't wearing horns. You are living life normally!

That just might appeal to her and give her the courage to make her decision. Ya never know!

I hope you plan on making a return visit(tm) with her.

Did you write down what her spiritual interests were? What literature she might accept? What time you can come visit again?
