Gaaaaaahhh!!!
The other day I scanned and uploaded a newspaper article and used the "Insert Picture From Web (Link)" button on JW.com to get it to show up in a post. It worked fine.
This morning I scan something else and follow exactly the same procedure and all I get is the red X. Is anyone else having trouble with Fotopic, or is it me?

Try right clicking on the photo and then using the 'paste' button on the toolbar here.

Another alternative to strike9.com is http://www.lambsroar.com/gallery/
It is very easy to use.
Just register, and then click on lightbox, then on the bottom of the page click on general.
Upload your picture. Then right click on it and copy, then paste it here.
That's a good idea, but I think it would be nice to cross-post to lambsroar too, it would be a bit mean just to use his image upload facility and not contribute to the site too. Likewise I have also posted images here that I've originally attached on my posts in Kent's forum.

Thanks guys. The Fotopic thing still wont let me link, but I increased the screen resolution of the photo display so I could copy and paste as Simon suggested. The stuff is just barely readable now.

Fotopic was hit by a power failure that killed one of their servers. They're up again.

Matty, it's ok to use this. There's no advertising, no words splattered across your image or anything like that. A credit would be nice if anyone thinks of it. The Photo deal over there will change in the future, I have alot of work to do on it (like set up the thumbnail script, etc), but it will always work basically the same. I'm going to place a nice copy and paste thing there so you won't have to right click on the images for the URL. Posting is nice too, but I'm not going to require a post for a pic, haha.....not a bad idea though!
