She's 38 and never been kissed
Least I guess not really
Steve did I suppose maybe, but maybe he don't count
a recovering alcoholic, who thought he'd found God and She.
I do believe he was puttin' both before his recovery

Young
A thousand doors ago
when I was a lonely kid
in a big house with four
garages and it was summer
as long as I could remember
I lay on the lawn at night,
clover wrinkling under me,
the wise stars bedding over me,
my mother's window a funnel
of yellow heat running out
my father's window, half shut,
an eye where sleepers pass
and the boards of the house
were smooth and white as wax
and probably a million leaves
sailed on their strange stalks
as the crickets ticked together
and I, in my brand new body,
which was not a woman's yet,
told the stars my questions
and thought god could really see
the heat and the painted light
elbows, knees, dreams, goodnightAnne Sexton
Six.... when does it stop hurting? Do you know?

SPAz, e'en (thank you song 149) more so now that she's 41.
Laura, sweetheart, I don't know. I wish I could take it away for you. Call me when you can/need/should.
Here's some humor, it might help more than my 4 magic words .
The above about my sister, and this next, are things I've come across going thru old mail I sent or recieved back from myself (dont ask). I sent this to an old friend (not sure where I found it):
There once was a lady named Bright
Who traveled much faster than light.
She departed one day, in a relative way,
And returned on the previous night.

Actually I wrote that. Tomorrow.
Oh hell, I can't help myself from helpin' others.... buck up little trooper.

btw, Laura, those word by Anne Sexton are something wonderful. Her Kind is my kind.
