....And I'm 32 years old. It must have been sad for her - all those years I was raised a JW and she couldn't even send me a birthday card. This summer I told her not only was I out for good - but I wasn't going to pander to the parents that now shun me by still not celebrating the holidays. I was going to get to know my "worldly" family for the first time. Three months ago I went to her 75th birthday bash and sung happy birthday at the top of my lungs and gave my gran a beautiful clock I splurged on at Tiffany's. My birthday is tomorrow and last night I came home to a beautiful birthday card in the mail signed, "love from Grandma". I burst into tears.
