Just visited Newyork.com to bring back memories of our trip there a couple years ago.
Happy memories (of the sites, sounds and spirit) of NYC.
Then I found this virtual view from top WTC . http://www.newyork.com/vny/panorama/tour3c.html
It's scary when you look how high they were, and to think of our fellow humans traped in there on 7/11

Qwerty, that's the type of work my family does. We erect the structural (skeleton) part of the building. It sures is a different world up there.

I often have wondered if I could do that sort of Job. Mmmmmmmm maybe, must be great once you have got over the nerves!
I saw an old pic the other day of NYC skyscraper workers all sat on a girder, hundreds of feet up having their packed lunch break!
If I can find (or if anyone can find) an old pic of this type please fell free to post it on this thread.

It's just another day in our lives. The uncertain is always there. Surprisingly, I would rather walk the beams than the streets of any cities. Some of my relatives have pics of the WTC under construction. The new building will be much, much higher than the former WTC.
