I saw my first Robin of the year today. Spring is finally on the way and I am feeling a little pagan. I believe that some sort of spring celebration combined with a happy dance is in order.
Happy spring everybody. It's coming and will be here in just a couple more weeks. Yes, there is hope.

I have a ritual every spring. Immediately after I see my first daffodill blossom, I conduct my ritual. I wait until the twilight hours and I set about getting ready. I place small pieces of wood that have passed through the fire and place them into my ritual cauldron. I pour a secret formula distilled in places far away from me...and then I light the contents on fire. I then proceed to take the flesh from gallus gallus and bos flesh....and I place it in the fire and char it. Then I gather those of my circle and we injest the remains that we pull out of the fire and usually we have prepared other potions and we drink exotic brews that have been made from secret recipes in far off places.
Of course, then I usually fall asleep in front of the TV watching the Race or a football game....

Robyn, with 22 inches of snow in the ground here, we could sure use a spring harbringer. I guess we won't see any Robins here until we can see the friggin grass again. But it's nice to know that spring is not all that far off.

I would go bezerk if I had to deal with 22 freaking inches Please stay warm and keep repeating "soon it will be spring".

My daffodils are coming up. More proof that spring is on its way. Be of good cheer, soon winter will be over! Yay!
