The Muslim Council of Britain and UK Jewish organisations want the UK government to enshrine into law their perceptions of what kind of speech constitutes Islamophobia or anti-semitism/hate crime.
Should British Christians follow suit? In the movies & on TV we constantly hear actors shout out, "Jesus Christ."
Would any Hollywood or TV director ever dare to have an actor say, "Bloody Mohammed?" (PBUH)
They effectively want anti-blasphemy laws.
People should have rights and protections, religions and ideologies should not.
This is just another click in the ratchet of islamification. Our only hope is to use these laws against them by having the Quran and other islamic holy writings declared hate speech and banned.

There is an important point to emphasise here: anti-Semitism and Islamophobia aren't equivalent.
One's to do with race (an immutable characteristic) and one is to do with religion (an ideology and a changeable characteristic).
Any religion is fair game for questioning, criticising and poking fun at.
People are accused of being anti-semitic if they have merely expressed a dissenting view of the Israeli government.
There is a big difference between the two.

Don't leave out the Old Testament, it's full of hate speech.
Antisemitism has been defined above by LUHE, as has Islamaphobia. But the latter can descend in to Racism if some people lump all followers of Islam together with the Islamic Extremists who become terrorists, obviously this is wrong.
They do not extend such racism, if you like to call it that, it is really extreme ignorant bigotry, to Christianity, strangely, which has its own extremists who bomb Abortion Clinics etc.

No one follows it and kills or subjugates others because of it. Not equivalent.
Islamophobia is vile. I don't mean criticism of Islam, I mean the notion that criticizing it is bad or should be prevented.
It is a vile, pig-shit stain of a religion and anyone who follows it is a pedophile-prophet loving follower of a puny god who is the furthest thing imaginable from "great".
