Why the Iraqis BELIEVE......

  I find it very interesting listening to XJW's comments about the people of Iraq and how we should just BOMB THEIR @$$es out of existence.

  What mostly fascinates me is that we were just like the people of Iraq at one time. We were willing to believe WHATEVER the FDS told us. And they told us some WHOPPERS baby. They even told us the two biggest whoppers of them all and we fell for it!!!

  1. THE FDS ALONE speak for God.

  2. MILLIONS NOW LIVING (yes, this means YOU) WILL NEVER DIE.

  Now examine the reality.

  1. The FDS is a bunch of decrepit old men who are

  2. in the process of dying.

  Now WHAT you may ask, is the difference? The difference is in the control of information. We were isolated from reality by the dictates of a few disillusioned old men who pulled the levers and turned the knobs in our lives.

  Then came information. In a trickle at first. One or two books. "I was a Watchtower slave." paved the way. Then others followed, "Crisis of Conscience." For the first time many JWs were exposed to a different view of their belief system. And a lot of them woke up. But a lot didn't even wake up after the prophesied WT-Armeggedon of 1975 failed to materialize. Those who didn't wake up lied to themselves and their children in a fanciful bit of revisionist history.

  Then comes the INTERNET.

  The internet changed everything. For once we had access to information that hadn't been doctored or cleaned up by the FDS and their head honchos in Crooklyn. And look how it has changed the rules.

  Do any of you doubt that this is what is happening in Iraq? One leader, who controls the media, morality and information flow into a nation of millions who have been duped into believing him.

  The similarities are so frightening, it shocks me to see XJW's talking about how we ought to just KILL THEM ALL.

  While we're at it, we might as well kill the JWs too.

  I am one who believes that Saddam must be removed from power. Though there are those who will generalize and say "Blow them all up!", I do believe that they, along with others who support the war, are not after blowing up all the Iraqi's but are in favor of removing Saddam from power by either force or otherwise. This in fact might mean blowing Saddam himself "up."

  Most people have nothing against the normal Iraqi cititzen, and I agree, they only know what they have been told. The problem is with the terrorists, which some reside in Iraq, those in the military that poison their own people, who put innocent families around the weapons of mass destruction. The evil ones. That is who we have a problem with.

  Right now, as you read this, there are planes flying over Iraq with letters to the people, telling them we have no problem with them, it is their government. It is the US that will help rebuild that country when this is over.

  Are there a few idiots who really want to blow up the whole country? Sure, but at least they are in the minority and do not have the power to do so. But that is here in the US. Places that support terrorism, such as Iraq, however, do have those few idiots that have the power to blow up whole countries or soon will if we don't stop them, and that is what we are trying to do.

  I too am thankful that those who would kill all Muslims or Arabs are in the minority.

  I just find the similarities between the JWs and the mindset of Saddam Hussein remarkable!

  I've actually heard some say that we need to kill the children too, because terrorism is already ingrained in them. It reminded me of that Governing Body member who talked about how children of the wicked DESERVED to be destroyed at Armageddon. I think it was Knorr. He said, "Little Rats grow up to be big Rats."

  Shocking that I once served a God who could kill children without a second thought.
