Thanks gorby ,its a pity though that I could not see the comments in English ,the main story translated in English but not the comments.
I like the way they rationalise selling off KH`s and merging others as though it is a sign of growth ?
Actually ,when it is really a sign of decline .
The comments are on Facebook so you can translate from there. Most of Europe is showing no increase now, so merging is going to be happening more and more. From a business point of view it makes no sense to use a building just 4 hours a week.
It can be paralleled to the Army moving recruiting centres around.
Overall, it's declining. But they are shutting down stores where recruits have dried up, and setting up shop where there is a fresh, naive market for their one true religion.
Thanks Gorby.
The article says 'Nederland telt inmiddels 30.000 leden' which means 'Meanwhile the Netherlands has 30,000 members'.
ThIs may give the (false) impression of some recent cumulative growth, but The Netherlands already has shown that average of 30,000 members for decades now while population has grown with millions since the 70's.
So much wishful thinking...don 't trust them.
