The one that always grates on me, because they get it wrong so it makes no sense, is "I could care less".
What Americans mean is that they couldn't care less. Get it right if you're going to say it ...

Technically, if you eat your cake you do still have it ... until you turn it to poo, but then you probably don't want it anymore.
