  Regarding the thread below which deals with the court allowing the two sisters to continue with their suit against the WTBTS; and all the other threads dealing with the failure of "God's organization" to provide the minimum care and concern for its most helpless members; and all the other threads dealing with false prophecy, doctrinal flip-flops & theological U-turns, conflicting teachings and all the cognitive dissonance generated by this phoney-baloney cult does it strike you that this is exactly like turning over a rock to reveal a nest of maggots!

  For a hundred years and more, the WTBTS did what it did to its followers in secret, in the dark, in little hidden meeting rooms, where elders asked sisters what kind of underwear they were wearing just before brother so-and-so slid them off her hips, salacious bastards all. But, as we have it from the scriptures, sinners may do what they do in the dark, but God will reveal all. Thank God for the Internet, and for Simon and this site, and Bill Bowen as well, and Ray Franz, and Penton, and the Mad Norwegian, and all of you for telling what you know.

  Soon perhaps we can celebrate the final dissolution of this manifest evil called the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.

  Do you agree that over the months and years of the history of this site and others like it that it is very like turning over a rock to expose maggots?

  Good analogy, Francois.

  And some people come here and ask "why can't we just put all the WTS nonsense behind us"? The answer is that they keep pulling this crap, like they pulled this crap on us for so many years, and for some of us there are still friends and/or family in that pseudo-religion that we knew and care about who are having this crap continually pulled on them by the uncaring leaders of this power-hungry false-prophet publishing corporation.

  If........they didn't disfellowship; if they didn't claim to be God's voice, oops, his channel of communication; if they didn't make it so painful to leave; if they didn't protect perverts; if they didn't distort and lie about their past........

  Your post made me think about the huge effect the internet has had on the Watchtower. Just look back on all of the issues this db and others have brought to light.

  I was just thinking: In an advancing world where people educate themselves, develop their personality, developing technology, medicine, and I can think of dozens positive aspects in which people can develop; in a world where truth, honesty, and sincerity are the guidelines; there is in this kind of environment no place for the Watchtower. People who want the WT changed can do so only as an interim stage. It might still take several generations, but the WT will cease to exist. There are posters who think that I'm a ticking time-bomb who wants to destroy the WT physically. There's no need for that as the Bible shows. Or is it all just a big malarky? enlighten me.
