The February 2017 Watchtower says: “The Governing Body is neither inspired nor infallible. Therefore, it can err in doctrinal matters or in organizational direction.”
Could this frank admission be a prelude to any fallout to Australian Royal Commission’s recommendations in March 2017?
I have found that very little in WT-world is coincidental.
Those February WT articles will be considered in April 2017, when the buzz from these findings may be noticeable even to the typical head-in-sand JW.
Maybe this admission opens the door for them to make some changes. Maybe.
Londo111, I fully expect so - even the JW organization spokesman in Australia, Rodney Spinks, said they took the Royal Commission's findings seriously.
The March 2017 Watchtower says that it is important to honor and respect Governments and that there may be benefits for doing so.
