Lets go on a trip into the biblical past, correct me for getting this wrong but,certain areas CITY GATES were designated for the scholars. learned men ,covering all aspects of city life and dominated by free religiouse speech,The gathering together of spiritual men discusing all and every spiritual possibility ,were open up for every conceivable argument and permeation covering jesus christ,and all other gods,nothing was left out,QUESTIONS WERE ASKED AND ANSWERD,BY LEARNED SCHOLARS AND ORDINARY MEN,

THEY HAD FREEDOM OF SPEECH,

Therfore when was freedom of discusing everything AND ANYTHING about jehovahs kingdom baned,the bareoans examined every scripture in great detail,within the jehovahs witnesses faith you are told to examine the scriptures,( the new world translation ) why not other translations why not any other books relating to gods kingdom

Are you allowed to ask any questions within the kingdom halls or at any book studys,or are you just fed as you think food without asking any questions ,my point is are you being force fed your spiritual food ,is this food able to answer any questions for you or are you so spiritualy dead that you have forgotten that jehovah want you to feed as individuals and not enmass as in a pig farm,

DOES JEHOVAH WANT YOU TO BE FORCE FED,AS YOUR FAMILYS LIFE DEPENDS ON YOUR CHOICE OF FEEDING TROUGH,

LOVE JEHOVAH BUT PRAY AND SEEK HIM AS IN INDIVIDUAL NOT AS A COLLECTIVE.

JWs are force-fed predigested answers from a narrow range of publications. If you are curious about what another religion teaches, they've got a book for that too. You are discouraged, not allowed to read the literature of the subject religion, but must instead read what the WTBTS says is believed by that subject religion. And of course in the WTBTS book about other religions and what they believe, there is perpetrated a gross systematically presented course of lies, half-truths, and bullshit.

And of course NO INDEPENDENT THINKING ALLOWED. The WTBTS will do all your thinking for you, and you dare not complain about it either. Thus you are expected to grow into some form of spiritual adulthood while being fed predigested pablum.

First, I would like to tell Eric, that he isn't acting very nice. With that kind of attitude I doubt you could get any "good shit done here on planet earth". I do agree though that the creation of "baby killing gods" and tiny Hitler-like anthropomorphic deities, is the most harmful and destructive of all the minds creations. It has opened the door wide for mans inhumanity to man, and our spiritual bankruptcy. Speaking of "being fed lies", I suggest the book The Christ Conspiracy, by Acharya S.. It reveals a lot that will never be told by the Christian church. I am not intending to bash anyone's beliefs, but rather feel deeply that the Truth is infinitely closer than our religions have taught; and to see what is false simply brings what is true into clearer focus. What a stinkin attitude Eric!

There are many people praying to their own imaginations or to their God that are right out in the front lines (with those who dont believe) feeding the starving, clothing the naked, giving medication to the dying. Putting thier lives at risk in places at war in order to help the many. You want these to get "their shit" out of the way just because of your religious bias which incites hatred as much as does the "religious" fanatics ? What "shit" are you doing to help these sort that gives you right to condemn ?

They may have a different belief or unbelief system to you but some of them are worth their wieght in gold. Its religious intolerance such as yours that has been fed and bred in this world that causes most of the problems. JWS are a perfect example of religious intolerance, they consider everyone who disagrees with them as "shit"

Jehovah's Witnesses remain "neutral" when they see the starving and needy in war torn countries, stuff them too.

I read a watchtower today. It made me feel sick. It was like eating regurgitated food.

I am free to think for myself and do my own research for the first time ever. I have even recently been researching Satanism. I admit it made me feel even sicker than the watchtower and it definitely isn't for me but at least I now feel I have made an informed intelligent decision.

I can now read the bible and see it for what it really is. When I tried to read it as a witness I found I couldn't because I kept finding things that contradicted what they were saying.

On this board I am free to bring up any subject and usually find someone to intelligently discuss it with me without them trying to shove their views down my throat.

Its nice. Its a breath of fresh air.
