Actually, Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Memorial Day) ended today at sundown. This year it began at sundown on April 23 and just ended here where I live on the East Coast of the USA.

I didn't see much news about it on television.....had to look it up to make sure of the date. Also recalls the 1,000,000 Armenians killed by the Turks around 1915-1916. I worked for a woman who was around 17 when that happened, lost all her family and escaped to France, married, and they moved to the US.
She still remembered the horror at the age of 86....
