Check out this convention drama, starting at 21:38 ... David breaths and describes what he sees as Bathsheba takes a bath π then they get together and keep weirdly quoting Song of Solomon in a twisted way... and he keeps calling her sister and later on even "little sister" π³ just wacko:
Erotic cringey convention drama

I remember that convention. I was 10 years old. I think I remember the drama where bath sheba was bathing as well.
More OT instruction on how to try harder not to sin. The NT shows an easier way:
3 Do you not know that we who were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been united with Him in the likeness of His death, so shall we also be united with Him in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old man has been crucified with Him, so that the body [power]of sin might be destroyed, and we should no longer be slaves to sin. - Romans 6I wonder why they never did dramas on the supernatural victory over sin that a believer can have.

This is an old oneβ¦.. I donβt remember that although I was there at the convention in 1973.
I agree , it does sound a bit creepy. David here slavering at the body of Bathsheba.
Long forgotten by the dubs.

And why do they keep on highlighting this tyrant? Are they pretending to be Jews in the Promised Land, or on their way there? (Which they are not.) What next, using an outdated map of Israel to get around even when they are not there? Obeying the whole Mosaic code? Imposing the full of Noahide Law on the whole world, or within the congregation?
And if they are disobeying Natural Law by keeping this filthy law of the bible (and I don't care which "testament"--both go against nature), of course they are going to "sin". Perhaps the problem is, not with people disobeying these rules, but the rules themselves?

The old "Don't do as I do, do as I say do" SUBLIMINAL tactic. WT can talk all they want regarding this biblical account, but on the other hand/by the same token, its members CAN NOT watch TV and motion picture programs displaying similar content. #HYPOCRITCYATTHISFINESTANDWORST!

https://youtu.be/KiIu0tm_DyM In 1966 they made this creepy video trying to appeal to the hip crowd. Colossal failure
