Go up to cart witnesses and ask what their organization is doing to aid hurricane victims. And when they say they look to gods kingdom for the solution. Say your solution is for God kill 99.9 % of humans! No people no problems! Be sure to take a picture of the deer in headlight look!

Generally these days they dont discuss a lot on the street, they just say go to jwdotorg. All will be explained there. However on the doors it is a lot easier to get them to answer questions, as there is no one else looking on, as there is in the cart witnessing. So yes they are good questions to ask a JW on the doors.

The very premise of witnesses is flawed.
Rather than being upset if people are killed, they should be happy for them, as they are now guaranteed a resurrection free pass into the new world right?
Yet, of course, as humans, we are all upset when people are killed in disasters.
So this shows that witnesses deep down do not believe their doctrines....

Stuckinarut if you ask a hard core dub what they really think, this is exACTly what they will say. Its awful and upsetting really, but this is the corollary of their belief system.
No what? Good point!! I'll say that if I get a chance.

Death before the Great Tribulation = Resurrection in Paradise.
That type of thinking has led untold numbers of JWs to suppress their grief when loved ones have died. For those who have suppressed their grief to dare consider their beliefs are hogwash would be unthinkable.
Moreover, that type of thinking has led JWs to lack empathy when others - including even their fellow believers - are grieving after losing loved ones in death. They trot out that terrible Scripture about 'we do not mourn the way others do for we have hope." For some, that verse is a comfort - but I have seen JWs cite it to cast doubt upon the faith of other JWs who are struck with grief after the death of a loved one.

@ Steve2 - You are so right, many JW's use that nonsense "logic" to gauge others spirituality and faith. It creates people who are afraid to express emotion, bottle up their feelings, and are denied the chance to properly mourn the loss of a loved one.
Its actually quite evil, when you think about it. The fact that everyone walks around, pretending how they feel, instead of actually feeling what they feel, creates an organization full of the R&F faking, pretending, spying, hiding, lieing, sneaking, back stabbing, judging, and dividing each other. None of them are really and truly loving each other, though, and that's the sad part.

I have never understood trying to tell people things like this. They are aware of what their God's solution is and they are all for it. I think if you get the deer in the headlight look it will be because they don't understand your accusation. You are just stating the obvious. How do you react when someone states the obvious to you, but acts as though it is some kind of revelation?
I would rather ask them how ignoring people in grave need makes them the 'charitable organization' that they are so proud of being.
You know, it never occurred to me when I was in the cult that we never helped anyone who wasn't a JW. I never actually knew that. I always thought that we helped people in their times of need... more so in other countries where the need is really great, but that was what I always thought. After I left, someone pointed out to me that the JWs don't help anyone in need but themselves and consider their only charitable act to be their proselytizing. I think a lot of current witnesses would have to take a moment of consideration if that fact were pointed out to them. I don't think it would make a lot of difference... but it might plant a seed.
