freemindfade - Hello! What part of the video? I really can't stomach the whole thing!
Obedience brings blessings-like branch increases? Growth? Really?
So, are they all experiencing the consequences of disobedience, or is the failing of the WTBTS financially evidence of THEIR ("FDS") disobedience or (dare I say it?) failure to be in line to get direction from God in any case? Individuals going to meetings are fine, it is the ORG that is failing. Individual congregations are just people worshiping god (after a fashion). They can do what they are doing, including FS without a single publication from the WT society. They can do it from homes, they don't need a KH or assemblies or Bethel.
So, really, where is the disobedience coming from? Who is failing to follow the leadings of God?
That was one of the most ridiculous 7 minutes, i just sat thru. This is a GB member, crazy. He is actually saying how being DOGMATIC, which is saying something and expecting blind obedience, is WRONG, and then is giving a modern day example about how we should blindly obey the FDS, no matter what. WHAT????
This is, mind numbingly, insulting any person with even half a brain.
I cant beleive i just saw a GB member saying, that they arent and shouldnt be dogmatic, but he did it WITH DOGMATISM. And, the purpose of the 7 minutes was to emphasize, basically, blind obedience.
@ Sabin - That is a very valid point, and a great observation, about how his eyes were constantly looking to the right. I noticed the same thing, too. He looked very uncomfortable, but more importantly, all his manerisms were that he was being deceitful, and not beleiving his own words.
did he not also hint that branch personnel should be understanding of the directives coming, (and have arrived now)?
edited" was he not setting the stage for what appears to be happening now? what did he fear bethel personnel might do, resist the directive, start an "occupy bethel" movement?
First off I have to say that was sickening to watch.
Second WOW! I can't believe he said apostates want to say we're dogmatic and believe whatever we're told and then said we should believe whatever we're told! That was the stupidest most lame presentation ever. I agree that he seemed really uncomfortable and not believable.
I think based on this there will be further doctrinal changes which may really upset the publishers. The money savings things are one point and a corporate necessity but I think the still to come doctrinal changes will shake some dubs to their core.
