I Don't Understand At All

Perhaps my problems with the new site are due to Operator Head Space, but I don't think so. for the last two weeks or so, when I log into JWD, I have gotten the same page: page # 1674 beginning with "To My Brother Regarding The USS Iowa," and ending with "The Life They Stole From Me."

When I click Active Topics, I get page # 2302, beginning with "What Would A Jehovah's Witness Romance Novel Be Like?" and ending with "Evolution or Creation?"

It's hard for me to belive that these two pages would persist for more than a week. But there it is. And when I submit this current post, I have no idea when, where, or if it will show up in the index.

Are any of you experiencing this type of strangeness with the new site? I'm using the XP version BTW. And ever since it has been up I've had these inexplicable presentations. I'm going to clear my cache next and see what happens. But in the meantime, I would certainly like to have your comments on this (be gentle, please ).

OK - I posted and it does not show up on the "Friends" index, but DOES show up on the "Active Topics" index. Is that right? Am I confused? Is this Operator Head Space problems? What?

I had this for several days too. Simon said that I needed to "Clear the cache" and told me to go into "Tools" and proceed from there. I couldn't find any tools on AOL, so I used IE each time I visited. After several days the problem fixed itself.

BTW, I know as much about computers as I do about women.

I also see that since 2 days now. The friends last page didn't budge since 2 days. Some days it goes well and pages change automatically, but not always.

Anyways I always stay on the Active topics Page not to miss anything.

Exact same thing has been happening to me too.

Then just now, from active topics, I chose the little drop down menu for variety's sake instead of the back button, and whalla.... the 3 new 'friends' pages appeared!!!

hey guys it's probably a systems implimentation problem related to the gigabytes on your cross platform asynchronous mouse clashing with your arithmetic logic unit interface overdrive hyperlink signal. (or maybe it isn't)

Don't lose hope brothers! - I had the same problem last week (was begining to take it personal like francois) but now it's all sweet. .. maybe it's one of them 'arround the world in 80 daze viruszuz. (.. or you could try what Englishman said) Now ... back to my computer for dummies course .. dumpster diving? (gee that reminds me - where is biblemans these days?
