pale.emperor, if you want to learn about how to 'apply' existential philosophy to your life in a pragmatic way, than I would highly recommend that you read this book. It is rather long and comprehensive but still easily understood. No need to wade through all the writings of Dostoyevsky, Camus, James, Tillich, Sartre, Nietzsche, Kierkegaard or Kafka and distill their thoughts into a single 'philosophy of life'. This book will help you put a mirror up to you psyche and then you will be able to determine how you want to answer the question of your life.
Old Navy..........Although he is not 'officially' as Existentialist, Viktor Frankl's LOGOTHERAPY has a strong foundation in existential theory. To quote him on love: "The truth-that love is the ultimate and the highest goal to which to which man can aspire. Then I grasped the meaning of the greatest secret that human poetry and human thought and belief have to impart: The salvation of man is through love and in love."
