This website is an invaluable source of knowledge for me in my deconstruction journey as I gradually fade away from the org. I absolutely love it here.

However, I haven't been very well as of late. And I make an effort to bring a sad little message. There is nothing for you all to worry about unduly, however I have taken some blood tests recently and I've had a hospital appointment, I have a confirmed cancer diagnosis. I want to keep the type of cancer private. It was expected, as I have cancer run through my family. Sadly, it's been caught a little later than expected. Nevertheless, I will be undergoing treatment and I hope to come back here regularly in due course. At the ripe age of 70+, I still have at least 10 more years to live, fingers crossed. Keep me in your prayers. All the best with your activism.

Hey Ukpimo, sorry to hear that you are unwell. There is some good news on cancer treatments recently using repurposed drugs that are very cheap and very safe and seem to work very well.

They are very cheap because the patents have expired and big pharma can no longer make any money out of them. For this reason and also that they threaten sales of very expensive drugs, you will not hear anything about these drugs from your doctor or the media.

    Best wishes,

    RB

Sorry to hear of your diagnosis.

I received similar news around Christmas of 2022. Did 45 radiation treatments and 18 months of chemo. Monitoring things with testing every 30-90 days. So far, so good. Presently, no evidence of cancer. I'm also about your age, so I suspect I will likely succumb to other issues as a sedentary, overweight, red meat consuming, regular drinker of good scotch.

No longer expecting the Big A to escape the final eventuality of all men (at least to date).

    Carpe diem!

Be brave, at 79 years old, being myself affected by cancer with some metastases everywhere except the vital organs, I have been in treatment for more than a year and it is not about to stop. I can assure you that I have decided not to give up and whatever happens every day I do not think about this filth but to continue to live like two roommates under the same roof. I understand that this makes you "not well". This forces us to have exams, and other joys that must be done but above all to keep an excellent morale. I wish you to have good times and to forget as often as you can this bad friend who arrives without warning.
